Yr11 Geography Fieldwork at Herne Bay

The inclement weather may have tried to put a dampener on the day but the Year 11 Geographers showed tenacity and prevailed to gather their data for their fieldwork investigation. Students went to Herne Bay to investigate the coastal process of longshore drift and the effect that coastal management is having on that section of coast. Students worked hard despite the conditions and there was even time for a cheeky bag of chips and even an ice cream if they were brave enough! Next stop is Stratford and the Olympic park to investigate regeneration for their second fieldwork investigation followed by the Iceland trip at Easter.
