Fundraising at Christmas Time

7 Chaucer X have been busy in the lead up to the festive season, raising £80 for the Toilet Twinning charity. The students, whose form room is Mr Matthews' technology workshop, worked like elves to work out the cost of materials and then each produce a handmade Christmas tree decoration and packaging.  They then used their form time to sell these to the ever generous Hurstmere staff.  The £80 goes to a charity called 'Toilet Twinning' which provides hygiene facilities to less fortunate areas of the world.  More information can be found at

The form would like to take the chance to thank all staff for their contributions and wish everyone a Happy Holiday season.
