The Return of Little Fish Theatre Company

‘Little Fish Theatre has been touring schools across South East London for over 10 years. We visit a range of mainstream schools, pupil referral units, youth offending teams and Youth Clubs units.

The company has been visiting Hurstmere for over 5 years. During that time, amongst other topics, we have delivered a range of productions and workshops looking at the following: ‘Mental Health’, ‘Young careers’ ‘Cyber bullying’ ‘Social media’, ‘Gangs and peer pressure’, ‘Hate Crime’, Islamophobia and ‘Homophobia’.

Hurstmere has always stood out to us for a number of reasons: The staff are welcoming, supportive and keen to engage. The process of working with the school as a whole is smooth and clearly organised. The behaviour of the young men, when watching our shows is impeccable. The respect, informed attitudes, listening skills and interaction we have is both respectful and mature.

When we book a project with Hurstmere, our staff actively comment on the positive experiences we have each and every time we visit. We hope to continue the relationship we have formed with the school and if successful with more funding, we would like to deliver a healthy relationship programme over the coming months.
