The Governors wish to appoint a dynamic, inspirational, talented and enthusiastic Curriculum Leader of Mathematics who will support the continued development of our Maths department.  The department is well resourced and has celebrated strong GCSE results over recent years. We are looking for a passionate and motivated teacher who believes that all pupils can achieve their full potential and will challenge them to unlock that potential and develop the tools they need to explore beyond what they consider to be possible.  An inspirational and innovative classroom teacher and leader, who is passionate about Mathematics and keen to improve standards for all pupils.   The successful applicant will have the ability to teach outstanding lessons across the age range and be committed to raising standards of attainment and developing the success of the department.  They will set high expectations for themselves, their department and the pupils.

Hurstmere School is a popular, non-selective secondary academy for boys aged 11 – 16, serving the local community of Sidcup.
