Year 7

Students work through a series of mini projects which encompass:

Website Creation 1
Desktop Publishing 1
Business Documentation 1
Spreadsheets 1
Databases 1

Year 8

Students work through a series of mini projects which encompass:

Internet Safety 2
Website Creation 2
Desktop Publishing 2
Business Documentation 2
Spreadsheets 2
Databases 2
Video Editing

At the end of each sub-project the students will be given assessment tasks to determine their understanding of the subject.

Year 9

OCR National students begin their GCSEs.

Unit 1: Business Skills. This is a mandatory unit, which introduces the essential requirements for setting up a business.

KS4 ICT

In Years 10 & 11 student have the option to do:

Unit 2: Website design
Unit 4: PowerPoint Design
Unit 5: Desktop Publishing
Unit 6: Spreadsheet Design
Unit 7: Databases
Unit 16: Hardware
Unit 23: Video Editing
