House System

The four Houses are Caxton, Cobham, Sidney and Chaucer which are named after famous people with a connection to the local area. The Houses have been reintroduced to forge links between year groups and encourage friendly competition across all subjects. In each year group two forms have been put together into one House and these are then linked to other year groups as depicted below.

 Every pupil in each House voted to decide who should stand as their House Captain. House Captains’ responsibilities will develop many skills that employers look for such as leadership, initiative and determination, and will be an excellent addition to their C.V.
